Although I don't feel like I have a good blog post, here are some random bullets of thought.
* Last week was VBS. It was in the evening and I didn't cook all week. I had to dust my stove today. Yikes.
*Painting is not one of my favorite things. I now know how to paint a room and have no desire to do it again (before and after pictures will be coming). I feel grateful that the former owners of our house had some decent taste and we don't have to repaint everything.
* Tomorrow we get a grill! I got a grill cookbook for a wedding shower gift and I am very excited to get to use it.
* Only three days left of summer school! This has truly been the perfect job - no complaints. However, it hasn't really felt like summer yet. I'm ready for a break from teaching.
*Lost - as in the TV show...I watched this for the first season while living with my parents and student teaching. I watched most of the second season, but missed a few episodes once Brian and I started dating. I liked talking to him on the phone more than watching the show. I never watched again after that - Brian doesn't really like to watch TV. BUT, I borrowed the first season and Brian is now HOOKED. We've watched 9 episodes in the last two days.
*Grocery shopping...I miss this during the school year! Brian does a great job, but I love the feeling of getting a great deal...like boxes of cereal for 50 cents a box. I love shopping at the new Price Chopper. I hate shopping at Wal.Mart. It stresses me out.
*This last week was super hot and we thought our air conditioner was broken. Great. It's not. We have an energy saver thermostat and on the hottest days the power company cycles our air compressor on and off in fifteen minute increments. It was beastly hot in our house on the days it was beastly hot outside. That thing has GOT to be replaced. It would have been nice to know that before we paid someone to come out to the house...
* I desperately want to take an awesome vacation. There are no plans in the works for a trip any time soon.
School Starts Again

WOO HOOO!!!!!! I'm so excited Brian is into LOST! Keep it up and we can watch together for the final season!
Oh, and I'm looking forward to seeing the freshly painted rooms...mostly the kitchen, though. :)
Yea for being almost done with summer school! I hope you´re able to rest up a lot and enjoy your summer even if you don´t get to take a cool vacation...
Yes, KEEP WATCHING! I love LOST! I'm almost positive you can call your electric company and override the cycling thing. We've had that thing installed for awhile now and they almost never do it (if that helps).
I have a goal to watch Lost from start to finish...I really hear it's that good!!

As for Lost...get ready for a ride! LOST is one of the TWO shows we watch, and it is AWESOME!! We've seen all the seasons, but actually, Nate and I are re-watching them all this summer so we can be raring to go for the final season next winter!!
